    • The YWCA Woodlawn Residence, for women only, has short term hostel like accomodation with private or semi-private rooms with shared bathrooms. There are cooking facilities and laundry on site. Breakfast is included in the rate and it is cafeteria style. It is located on a quiet residential street in a nice area of the city (near posh Rosedale). It is also close to transit, business buildings, shopping, and fine dinning or quick eat and go places.

    Unique Qualities: Basic, clean, and friendly. It is not a women's emergency shelter, but there are transient women on a tight budget, as well as women who are travelling.

     Suzanne your tips on Toronto are fantastic how can people not visit Toronto after reading these tips , my 3 favorite restaurants are Red Lobster ,Schwiss Chalet and of course Tim Horton for the coffee and donuts.Toronto is the place.
