Ulsan, city, southeastern South Korea, on Ulsan Bay, an arm of the East Sea (Sea of Japan), near Pusan. A road center on a railroad, it is a coal-mining and industrial city and has the country's first oil refinery (1965) and a large fertilizer factory. The Japanese called the city Urusan. Population (1995) 967,394.

The room is clean. The room heater was on all the time, you can't turn it off. We have to sleep with the window... more travel advice
