I very much doubt that somebody has been to Vancouver and doesn't like it.
The capital of Canada's British Columbia region is the quintessential Pacific Northwest city. It is cosmopolitan, liberal, colourful, peaceful and vibrant.
But Vancouver's great charm is its location, really blessed by nature. From coast to sea, from snow to beach in a couple of hours, there is not many places in the world where you can have this.
Vancouver is one of the most so to speak "civilized" places in the world I have been to, something like a model city for the best the West has to offer.
Its standard of life is exceptionally high yet the city is not sterile or boring.
It is a great place to be so do visit it if you have the chance. |
