Visited 2 days during Sunday of Palms. The climb up the stairs from the train station is too long to carry luggage. I had 1 bag and was thinking about others who carry more. Therefore carry less luggage or use a taxi. We visited the Monastery on Sunday, it was a wonderful experience, many people were there, the sights, sounds and smells were great. I surprised to meet a fellow American while visiting here. |
| | Peles WOW! The Peles Castle is an amazing work. The view is breathtaking. They give a tour that is very good. It would have been good to do it again as I am sure that I missed some details. The walk to the castle was beautiful. I like historical stuff and it was cool to imagine the area over 100 years ago. Some of the vendors along the road were too persistent for my taste. |
| | Hotel Sinaia I made the arrangements for the hotel online. It worked well, we didn't have a problem. I couldn't believe that I traveled 6000 miles to meet someone at the hotel from Oklahoma. That was interesting. The view from the hotel was beautiful. |
