    • I first encoutered Aldi's at home. It was a new idea of low, low prices and you bag your own groceries (the bag costs 15 cent). I was shocked and amazed to see Aldi's in Berlin. I was told that 2 brothers started the store in Berlin and then it expanded. I just didn't consider that a discount grocery store would be international.
