    • Coconut Marketplace is located on the east shore of Kauai in the town of Kapaa in the Wailua Area. It's an open air shopping center that has over 70 small shops and restaurants. It's a good place for buying gifts for friends back home.

     FYI on the "Don't take dogs" piece, those are hunting dogs. They often run after goats/pigs and get lost for hours/days but eventually find their way home. If you find a random shirt hanging on a tree, leave it for the dogs to pick up their owner's scent.    		spitball Tue Nov 20, 2007 01:11 UTC
