Laksmi: Excellent and exotic Indian restaurant Laksmi Review

What a delight this Mile End restautanrt is, away from the Brick Lane mob, this little place has excellent food with specialities that are hard to find elsewhere. Its my favourite Indian restaurant in London. They also have excellent grill dishes. Their veggie menue is extensive enough to give culinary pleasure to the most demanding vegetarians.

Favorite Dish: Chicken Kashmir, cooked in a rich creamy sauce with dry fruits and spices, is a lovely mild dish.
Muglai Pulao Biriani rice fried with lam and chicken seasoned with coconuts and sultanas and cooked in an egg sauce.
Prawn Kurma is a very mild and slightly sweet dish of prawns cooked in almond and coconut sauce with fresh cream, yumm!

Comparison: less expensive than average

Directions: Near Stepney Green or Witchapel Tube, opposite Block Buster Video and Mile End Genesis Cinema.
