I lived in Corsica for two years after nearly 14 years in London. I love this Island, its a very enchanting place. For a small Island, it packs alot into a small space. Mighty mountains, forests, wonderful beaches, diving sites, fascinating architecture, and an enchanting cultural heritage.

Vritual Home?

Well, I am rather new to this fab site, so, progress on my pages will be patchy, please bear with me, and feel free to write, ask questions or just a friendly email/chat (I dont bite, well, not usually)! Home is something we carry with us where ever we go, and I suppose, if we feel it safe and loved, then where ever we go is our home.

Travelling abroad

When I lived in Corsica, I did the inverse of city people, went on holidays to cities! Nearly everyone I know in Corsica does the same thing. Of course I visited the countryside, I travelled several times to Italy, and enjoyed the wonderful countryside of Tuscany (more sometime soon). This summer I visited Vienna and Budapest. I particulalry loved the latter, what a wonderful place, energy, people. I fell in love with this city at first sight. Will write about my experiences of Budapest later on as i finish my Corsican pages.

But all this is about to change, as I am moving to Rio, watch this space (!), and keep reading below...

Brazilian Adventure

I have spent most of december and January in Brazil, and had a fantastic time and met wonderful people!

Spent several days in a small lodge in the Amazon rainforest, it was a great exprience I will never forget.
Then went to Sao Luis and Lencois, spent a few more days in Ponte Negra and south coast of Rio Grande de Norte. Then spent more than a month in Rio. I have started working on some of my the Brazilian pages, but I wisely forget a disk with photos at my friends home in Rio, I guess I had problems to leave! Speaking of which, I am coming back to Rio this May, and hopefuly, this time, to stay and start a business. Keep your fingres crossed for me :)

What a joy to be back in the UK

I missed it so much, London and the UK is so dear to me. What a joy to be back here for my birthday and thank you everyone who wished me happy birthday via email comments! I spent my birthday with Lea and Kamel and had a wonderful time.
