Things To Do: take a long walk.
  • Tip Rating:
  • I miss walking Cities! Toronto is one of the best for this. I like to just walk around, people watch and look at the architecture. One of my favorite things is old churches. Odd, because I am hardly a religious type. There were several in Toronto that were impressive. Like the one shown. Does anyone know the name of this church? I think it is on Queen St.

Rogers Centre / Skydome: More walking
  • Tip Rating:
  • I walked down Front St towards the CN Tower and found this great building with giant men looking down on the people below. I am not sure what this is, but I really liked it.

    CN Tower: CN Tower
  • Tip Rating:
  • The CN Tower is the largest freestanding structure in North America...or something like that. It is quite large. Apparently people spend a great deal of money to go up inside. Not exactly something I would be into, but I do like how my picture came out.

    Harbourfront & Toronto Islands: Waterfront
  • Tip Rating:
  • There is a nice waterfront to relax by. It overlooks Lake Ontario and the Toronto Islands. There is a ferry that seemed to leave very often to take people to the Island. Rumor has it there is a nude beach over there.

City Hall & Nathan Phillips Square: more walking
  • Tip Rating:
  • This pic was taken on Queen street shortly before the sun came up. As I mentioned before, even though I rarely step foot in one, I love churchs. For some reason I like clock towers too, so this had both. The pic did come out dark, but I kind of like it that way.

City Hall & Nathan Phillips Square: walking continued
  • Tip Rating:
  • This is a beautiful statue of the great Winston Churchill. Once again, I have to compare Toronto to Boston as there are grand statues everywhere honoring history. These are all well maintained with nice landscaping surrounding them. Take a couple of minutes to read these monuments. I find them very interesting.

    Things To Do: walking continued
  • Tip Rating:
  • Again, any help would be appreciated on where and what this is (I seem to recall it being on King St) This is the type of thing I love. It shows Toronto supports the arts and it's little things like this that truly define a city.

City Hall & Nathan Phillips Square: Tired of all the walking?
  • Tip Rating:
  • This is a beautiful place to sit and rest up from a walk. A nice reflection pond, arches, a church. Katmosphere has an incredible pic of this same spot on her Toronto homepage. Go check it out.

Scott, that clock tower (with protruding gargoyles) is part of the very impressive Court house building. I took lots of shots of it too when I was there in October.
