Vancouver is right across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. There is a nice walk along the river in Downtown Portland, but I suggest you get in the car and drive to Mt St Helens for some great scenary.

No volcanoes where I live...But have no fear, we have lots of other things to keep us on the go. LOL
Well you are correct about Mt. St. Helens blowing her top. I watched it htrough my living room window. What a sight.. =^oo^=
