New Mexico is an incredibly beautiful State. In the South, it is mostly dessert but as you drive north, the landscape includes mountains, rivers and forrests. I spent most of my time up north, just outside of Taos, and we had snow every day..at the end of May
I only spent 4 days here, but I crammed a lot into that four days. I will absolutely be back. |

| | elk galore everyday we saw elk, sometimes as many as 40 at a time. I can't describe how great it felt to watch these animals grazing, sometimes right on the lawn of the home I stayed at. |
