Restaurant Name: Restaurant at Hotel Vajra
The restaurant at the Hotel Vajra is a great place to relax and meet other travelers from around the world. The staff is excellent and you can enjoy some of Nepal's local cuisine, such as Daal Bhaat and Curry Chicken. When I was there, they had a nice fire going in the evenings and I met people from Denmark, New Zealand, Germany, and the US. After dinner head up to the rooftop for a view of the city.
Favorite Dish: Daal Bhaat...(Rice with lentils and vegetables) and a big glass of San Miguel Beer

Restaurant Name: Fire And Ice
This is a wonderful little pizza restaurant that feels more like Italy then Nepal. There is classical music playing, candlelit and travelers from all over the world. The pizza is great and the atmosphere is relaxing and special.
