Allegro Papagayo All-Inclusive Resort

I've stayed at a number of all-inclusive hotels in the past and am ok with them for the most part but I have to say: an all-inclusive stay in Costa is just not worth it in my opinion.

Pros and Cons

Pros:beautiful beaches, Rincon de la Vieja, mud baths, volcanoes
Cons:HOT

I think there are better countries for an all inclusive hotels. In my opinion Costa Rica is not the country for party. When I went in Guanacaste I stayed to Playa Grande, beautifull beach in the Parque Nacional Las Baulas in a encharming small hotel called RipJack Inn, www.ripjackinn.com I think this is the perfect model for hotels in Costa Rica.

That's great advise about all inclusives. Costa Rica is definately about adventure and exploring !
