It may be called the Big Apple but to me New York was more the Big Fruitcake. It was such a wild place more suited to the jungles of Africa. With such a diverse mix of people from the ethnic taxi drivers to the unknown origin concierge's. New york was 1 awesome destination for a short time, but any longer then a week and i think i'd begin to mutate into something. If you've ever seen the original 'Time Machine' and know of the creatures that inhabit the insides of the earth - in the future, you would know what i believe i would mutate into. New Yorkers are like another race of human being, sometimes rude, sometimes ugly, sometimes arrogant, but also sometimes friendly. For an Australian from a small city New York seemed more off this planet then on......... Loved every minute and cant wait to return, but next time i think i'll take the bus. the subway was truely weird at times. |
| | Subway Chaos took me hours and 4 trains to get to the airport - the joys of the subway. |
| Jekyl and Hyde Restaurant |
| | Odd Restaurant If you look closely on the roof of this restaurant you will see some odd characyers. Situated somewhere downtown, i waked past this on one of my many New York walks. |
