For a taste of Malaysian or Thai i highly recommend the Rendezvous Cafe. A cosy little place down the end of the Star Village Arcade, this place is most often full and a popular place with the locals. Bookings advisable for large groups especially duringthe busy work day lunch time.

Favorite Dish: Chicken Laksa is supurb.

Restaurant Name: Hogs Breath Cafe

If your unaware of the Hogs Breath saloon and grill restaurant chain then i suggest while in Darwin you check this one out. Well managed and staffed the food here is always nice, very filling and goes down well with a beer or two. A top place for a casual dinner or lunch on the go.

Favorite Dish: chicken ranch salad is yummy

20/10/2005 Update - had Hogs Breath Chicken Ranch Salad last night and was a little dissapointed. I've had this meal a number of times in the time I've been in Darwin but sadly It isn't as nice as it once was.
