Venice - A Peaceful City

by beav1279 - last update: May 25, 2004

I should have spent more time here!

On the Accademia Bridge over the Grand Canal
After staying in Rome for 3 days, Venice was quite the change. Because of the laws against motorized vehicles, there are no motor bikes speeding by your window at night or sirens waking you up. The canals were nice and so were the people. I recommend spending a few days here just taking in the city.
