Nevada Neon-Oasis

by sue_stone - last update: Oct 18, 2008

View from our hotel room at the Bellagio
I was so excited to be going to Las Vegas as I just knew I would love it. I'm not really a gambler, but I do love posh hotels, quirky architecture and dining out in nice restaurants, all of which Vegas has in copious amounts!

We stayed in the heart of the action, at the Bellagio Hotel, our room looking out over the large lake at the front with its regular 'dancing fountain' show, and the Eiffel Tower looming in the background. Crazy.

Las Vegas really did live up to my expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for a few more decadent days and nights in this Nevada neon-oasis.

Hi Sue, Vegas is definitely a place for sensory overload! BTW, the name of the artist of the "glass sculpture" located in the ceiling of the Bellagio is CHIHULY!! Quite amazing isn't it?!
