Confiserie Zurcher: Confiserie Zurcher - cafe and cake shop

After a visit to Chateau de Chillon we headed into Montreux for some lunch. One of the first places we came across was Confiserie Zurcher and as it looked popular we thought we would join the bandwagon.

We first sat at a table right in the front section but soon found out, as we tried to order our meal, that these tables were for coffee/cakes only, so we had to move a little further inside. If only we had know at that time that if we had of moved even further inside, to the rear of the café, we would have found the restaurant area and the lovely lake views.

Favorite Dish: Chris and I ordered the dish of the day, which was some sort of fish with roasted vegetables. Very tasty. Alex opted for an omelette which was served with chips. Service was friendly and food enjoyable. Shame we were too full to sample some of the tasty looking cakes in the shop section.
