In July 2005, Alex & I spent a week in Russia. It was a particularly exciting holiday for us, as my father-in-law was Russian and Alex had been looking forward to seeing the Russian way of life first-hand. Our first few days were spent in Moscow. The first day and a half was amazing - such buildings to see and photograph! But alas, then poor Alex got food poisoning....and our remaining day was spent in the hotel room. sue - your moscow page is one of my favorites. it brings tears to my eyes planning my trip! i am going in just over a month (!!) and your tips are wonderful. we even got tickets the 1st night to the Bolshoi for Swan Lake! i will let you know how it is :)! |
