In July 2005, Alex & I spent a week in Russia. It was a particularly exciting holiday for us, as my father-in-law was Russian and Alex had been looking forward to seeing the Russian way of life first-hand. Our first few days were spent in Moscow. We then moved onto St Petersburg for the remainder of the trip. As Alex had gotten food poisoning in Moscow, he still wasn't feeling that great, so we didn't do as much as planned...though we still managed to see enough to feel that we had gotten a taste for the city. For full details of our trip, see my full Trip Report on my Russia Page. To see what we got up to on the rest of the trip, visit my Moscow page |
