Everyone always RAVES about Prague so I was excited to be finally going there for a long weekend.
We booked an apartment right in the centre of the Old Town - wanting to be close to everything.
The weather was excellent, the city was interesting and we didn't have any trouble with pick-pockets.
We ate a lot of dumplings and drank a lot of beer.
It was an interesting few days….but we didn't fall in love with Prague like most people seem to. I'm not really sure why….it has a fabulous Castle, Cathedrals, Squares….but it just didn't capture our heart like some other cites have before it.
Don't get me wrong, Prague really is a beautiful city - why not go and check it out for yourself and let me know what you think. |

In November, 2006, our chorus from Marin County, California, performed four concerts in Prague. Of course, I traveled to Charles Bridge and stood before the statue of John of Nepomuk. And made a wish that I would live forever. So far, so good. | alucas Mon Jun 23, 2008 19:06 UTC

Hi Sue Maly is the Czech word for small... Stary is the word for old so the square is the "little square" and it beautiful, especially in the summer regards Peter |
