Fowey (pronounced Foy) is an attractive historic maritime port in Cornwall. We based ourselves there for two nights in April 2009 and found the area particularly picturesque.
Located on the Fowey River, there is a long, deep harbour, with plenty of boat traffic to ensure the views are ever-changing. Across the river is the town of Polruan, and regular ferries run between the two ports. |
