| The River Thames at Marlow |
Marlow is a lovely historic town located on the River Thames in Buckinghamshire. It is a nice place to stop off for a wander by the river if you are in the area, and perhaps a meal nearby at one of the attractive Chiltern pubs or exclusive hotels.
The first time I visited Marlow was for a work event, and we stayed overnight at the impressive Danesfield House. On my second visit we stopped off for a browse along the main street and a short stroll by the river.
Marlow has a lovely suspension bridge across the river, and the All Saints Church near by with an interesting old graveyard to explore. |
