Port Isaac is a lovely little port town on the Cornwall north coast. It is a popular location for filming movies and TV series, and British series 'Doc Martin' was being filmed while we were there.

The small harbour beach is used as a car park at low tide, though be sure to be around to move your car as the waters return. We parked in the main car park on the top of the village and then walked along the cliff side path into town which offered great coastal views.

We didn't spend that much time in Port Isaac, but did make the time to sample some local ice cream and sit by the harbour wondering if a couple of cars on the beach were going to be washed away by the rising tide.
