St Mawes is an attractive harbour town located across the waterway from Falmouth. It has a real 'holiday-feel' about it, and I could imagine renting a house for a week over looking the harbour and just relaxing.

If you do visit make sure you check out the unusual looking "clover-shaped" castle. From this headland you also get a good view across to Falmouth, which is just a short ferry ride away.
