We had a quick 2 night visit to Madrid.
It was a very grand city and I really enjoyed just walking around and soaking up the history and culture.

It looked like you were having fun in Madrid! Great photos of the city with it's impressive old buildings set among the green trees and with blue skies! Mmm, beer and tapas sounds good to me!
Ahh, yes ...now I remember ...I already commented this page on October 11th .... ..but I agree with zumodemango: Two nights are definitely not enough to get a real idea of this fabulous city ...
2 nights are not enought, you have to come back soon!

Good to know that there is more than one "House of Jamon" in Madrid.
So it was a little eating then a little sightseeing & so on then Sue? I do envy you guys being able to do all this travelling while based in London. But you've got to do it while the opportunity is there.
