Yes, the usual warning - be very wary of pickpockets, especially when catching public transport or when in one of the main tourist areas in Rome. We were on a crowded bus and witnessed a pickpocket in action - the person standing next to us was silly enought to have their wallet in their back pocket and if we hadn't yelled out, they would have lost it! Just be sensible and alert.

Maurizioago Thu Nov 22, 2007 11:26 UTC Good page. Piazza Barberini; not Berberini. Ciao! | Molly234 Sun Oct 28, 2007 12:07 UTC I so glad someone else had this same experience. I thought I was only me who found finally reaching the Sistine Chapel anti-climatic. The museum on the way was much more spectacular. | GRW144 Wed Oct 10, 2007 16:50 UTC We happened to trip across this restaurant along our way back from the Spanish Steps. Our host, Amadeus, bent over backwards to make our dinner PERFECT. I would highly suggest trying the stuffed olive antipasto and the cold potatoes... a true delicacy! | cityofbigshoulders Tue Aug 21, 2007 05:03 UTC Sue--why are you rating these restaurants so highly when you didn't even like your lunch. This is like the 6th review where you put a lackluster review with a high number of stars; |
