It can get pretty hot and tiring

Luggage and bags: If you are racing around all day like we did, make sure you don't lug too much around with you. A nice compact daypack/backpack is best.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You will no doubt do lots of walking and standing around, so comfortable shoes are a must.

Also, you may be out in the sun a lot, so a hat is a good idea too.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Always make sure you carry some tissues to use as toilet paper and some anti-bacterial wipes are really handy too.

Oh, and don't forget the sunscreen!

Photo Equipment: I think it goes without saying that you will be taking plenty of photos in Luxor - everything you see is so amazing.

Miscellaneous: Bring some water with you. It can get really hot, especially inside the tombs at the Valley of the Kings.
