| View from Hot-Air Balloon over Luxor |
We docked at Luxor on our Nile cruise, and had one very busy day to see all the highlights.
Luxor is a city with amazing contrasts in landscape. The highlight of our visit here was a hot-air balloon ride. From the balloon we could see the desert, the lush farming land, the Nile, the ruins of temples - spectacular.
We had time to see only a snippet of what this amazing place has to offer - please make sure you allocate more than a day if you make it here! |

Wonderful page on Luxor Sue. It is on the top of my wish list. The Nile cruise sounds interesting and looks like a great way to see the area. |
