Goury lighthouse in the distance - Goury

Located at the north western point of the Cotentin Peninsula is the scenic village of Goury. There is not a lot to see here, except for the pretty harbour and a very cool looking lighthouse.

It was terrible weather when we visited, but we still found Goury to be an enchanting little place, delightfully off the beaten track.

Fantastic, fabulous, brilliant awesome and stunning intro photo ...sometimes grey weather is just necessary for the perfect atmosphere ... :-) ...I am always wondering why the locals in these villages are always animals and never French people ... :-)

Strange little place - and those locals! Reminds me a bit of Wales ;-))
