Kingscliff is a coastal town located just south of the Queensland border. It is has lots of good cafes and restaurants located just across the road from the main beach, and is becoming a bit of a foodie mecca.
There is a huge new housing and commercial development at Kingscliff called Salt Village, here you will find more cafes and restaurants, masses of new homes and vacant blocks, and a top class resort.
We visited Kingscliff for a few hours and with all of those great dining options ended up having lunch at the Bowling Club! |

I hope to be on the Pacific coast later this year, although it will be Russain coast, not Australian :-) | HORSCHECK Sat May 19, 2007 23:29 UTC Lovely little page here ... :-) | tiabunna Sat May 19, 2007 09:08 UTC It looks a tough choice between the barra and the 'surf and turf'! Don't recall having those choices when I last visited years ago.. |
