I was born in Sydney and lived there for more than 30 years. I was once a bit of an expert on the city, but after living away for 5 years I am starting to forget! Luckily I have been returning for the occasional visit which helps me to remember that I am from one of the most amazing cities in the world!
The combination of good weather, blue skies, and the harbour is fantastic. Then throw in the fabulous restaurants & bars and it is hard to beat!
The only reason I don't live there these days is that it is too far from the rest of the world, and I'm not done exploring yet ; )
For the time being I won't be loading up Things to Do on this page, it will mainly be a record of places that I have eaten on trips back to visit family & friends. I shall update it with more helpful information in the future.

Hi Sue, your restaurant tips are amazing! We've just booked to go to Sydney for family wedding in September and now I'm not sure we've booked enough time to vist all the great foodie places!
