The old town of Nice is an interesting warren of shops, bars and restaurants. It is great to visit at anytime, but some parts are magical at night.

The Parc du Chateau is located atop of a 92 metre high hill, at the eastern end of Quai des Etats-Unis. It is a large park, popular with familes. From here ther are amazing views across Nice and along the Cote d'Azur. You can catch a lift to the Park (from under the Tour Bellanda), or walk up the steps (from eastern end of Rue Rossetti.

On Cours Saleya from Tuesday to Sunday, there is a flower market and a food market. There are a number of stalls selling the local speciality - fruits glaces (glazed or candied fruits).
