"Cornwall" Cornwall by sue_stone

In April 2009 we visited Cornwall for the first time, spending 5 nights exploring the area. Although the weather was misbehaving during our visit, we still managed to get a good taste for this picturesque part of England and will certainly return one day.

Land's End
Land's End is the most westerly point on the British mainland. These days it is surrounded by an unattractive tourist village, which you have to walk through to get the aforementioned point which is marked by a much photographed sign.

It was raining and blowing a gale when we visited Land's End. We only just managed to fight the wind to take a wobbly photo of the sign, then scurried back to the car.
