Sydney girl a long way from home...
I am from Sydney, but have been living in London since 2002.
Hope to stay for a few more years and see as much of Europe as possible!
The hardest part about living away from home is missing family and friends, but have made some new friends here (THANK YOU Virtual Tourist!!!), so it's not all bad!
So, why London ?
London is a fabulous base to explore Europe - only an hour or two flying, and you can visit another amazing country......not like living 24 hours away in Australia!

We met in Sydney, and moved over to London together, later getting married here.

* HORSCHECK came back for his annual visit to London, and this time yumyum came too! A small group of us got together for lunch and to see the 2008 Switched on London illuminations. Pics here.
* When member rexvaughan told me he was coming to London I just had to meet him! A small group got together to welcome Rex to town. Pics here.
I often have small 'VT meetings' in London...but don't call them meetings anymore, as some of the people I have met through VT I now class as good friends.
* In 2006 I attended one of the biggest ever VT meetings - click here for pics!. Thanks Jenniflower for all your hard work in organising this one.
* It was an amazing experience to have been part of the 1st Official European VT Meeting in Verona/Valeggio sul Mincio, Italy in May 2005. |
