At the middle of the Medina you will find the tanneries.
For have this view you have to get inside one of the leather shops of the place. At the entrance of the shop you will fin some meant leaves for reduce the hard smell of the place. From the top you will see the men working with the leather, drying it, colouring it … it’s a beautiful view.
As other places, it will be difficult to find this place if you are not taken by a guide, or you have much time for discover them

All the medina is a big souk where you will be able to find all the kind of handwork that morocco people do with so high quality.
Leather, ceramic, metal, wood, all kind of materials work is founded here. Also food or medical herbs... a world of natural things ... the same things you could surely find thousands years ago.... so don't come here to buy a computer :)))

The beautiful fountain at Place an-Nejjarine, its a fountain of azulejos of great colours ... at the place you will find the museum.

When I went at Fes the place was underreforms but it was wonderful to see it.

As all around Morocco you can not visit mosques if you are not muslim. Fes is Morocco's religious capital.

There is a Karaouine is a big mosque inside medina, at its heart, that as others you can't visit, but you can walk around and look through its big open doors. These doors will be open at pray times.

Numerous madrassas surround the mosque, and those are open for public.
