"Fes" a Wilaya de Fes Travel Page by diageva

Fes has been the third city I have visit of Morocco. Tanger, Marrakech and now Fes, three cities of the same country but so different between them.
For me Fes is not as beautiful as Marrakech and it is thousands of times more difficult than Marrakech. At Fes you don’t have any reference for not loose your self and you don’t have so many monuments to see. Fes is more for walk around the medina cause the really interest is at the streets.
I did find Fes difficult, impossible to find inside all beautiful mess, where you are or in witch direction you have to go. Impossible to find what you are looking for so if you have little time you should take a guide to help you to find the madrassa or the museum you want to see. The guide will take to many shops also because the principal wealth of Fes is its handicraft.
I did visit Fes at a Saturday rainy day, and as Saturday I did saw lots of children playing at medina’s narrow streets.
