For me the must see are the city its self ... walk along its streets is the most wonderful thing ... but you should do it with calm and along the streets or canals where you can do it in peace ... where you can feel all that that makes Venice so special. I did went at one of the most busy days but I did find the way to walk without rush or pushings ... At everytime ....

San Marcos Piazza is great ... I didn't image it as it is ... I though it was looking to the canal but it is not .... The best moment to visit it is .... there is not a best moment ... during day is great cause you will see the gold of the San Marcos facade shining and children feeding pigeons ... and at night ... wow .. that wonderful light and the music of all the terraces of the square ... so ... I do recommend visiting San Marcos Piazza at least 2 times during your visit ... :)

My hotel was very near Frari square. No queues here and it is great. Frari is a big brick church. From outside don't looks as nice as others cause is very simple (simple but nice) but inside ... inside is nothing near to simple... I was very impressing... lots of art jewels. My favourites a black man sculptures with the death at the entrance and a statue of a man over a horse ( San Juan Bautista? perhaps ) At the entrance they will give you a red scarf to cover you if you are showing shoulders. Remember the church will be close at mass hours. Of course I did light a candle to the Virgen to ask her something special :) The square is very nice and the canal there have a nice light for pics.

This was a great surprise ... my first day ... after visiting Frari I did walk around and find this building ... I went near to see what was about ... the downs stairs was not very impressive for me ... but the top floors are just incredible ... this is a really must see The decoration inside is magnificent. The fresh paints of the walls and ceilings ... the paints at frames ... Tintoreto, Bellini .... great I didn't notice and did get inside without paying ... but after I saw that the price was 5,5 euros. :)))) sorry .... Open from 9 to 17:30
