Getting TO/AROUND: I like to walk in the cities, I think is the better way to know a city, but sometimes ... when I am tired ... I use to take public trasports ...

Taking the bus in Marrakech is a great experience!!! ... I do remember each travel I made in it ... :))) you can observe people very near ,... their costums ... :)))

I found curious how they push themselfs to get to an empty bus, how people reserve a place to you because you are a tourist ... how women carry few children with no help and carry also with food ... how men don't move to let you arrive to your seat .... how they are so diferent !!! ... I love to see that we are so diferent ... I love this people becuase I saw them very pure ...

Bus is very secur way to travel around ... you have many bus stops ... mainly at Mohamed V that its the most important streets that comunicate Koutoubita with the moderm Marrakech of Gueliz ....

If I where you ... I will take the buses better than the little taxi or taxies ... is a great experience ....:)))

3 Dirham .. you pay to the driver ...

many buses have their stop at the Koutoubia ... mine was L1 that took me from Koutoubia to Yacoub El Mansour

Getting TO/AROUND: A nice way to move around is the House Cab, not for moving inside the Medina, because have so narrow streets that will not move easily ... but around the Medina, for go to the Menara, or to suround the city walls at the sunset ...

There are two big House Cab stops at the Koutoubia and at the Liberty Square ... you can also stop them if you see them at the streets ...

Getting TO/AROUND: You can move around the city also with the Petit Taxies and with the Grand Taxies ... The firts ones are for sharing ... so they can pic 3 persons ... and are cheaper than Grand Taxies ... a medium fare of the pettit taxies are around 10 dirham ... if you go to the airport is around 60 dirham ( 100 dirham if you take it at night )
If you are at a bus stop is normal to take a petit taxy between 3.

Getting TO/AROUND: To arrive to Marrakech I toke a Ferry from Algeciras (South of Spain) to Tanger (North of Morocco) . (See my Tanger page) I used
Trasmediterranea for going and frs for coming back to Spain.
From Tanger I took an airplane to Casablanca and then from there a airplane to Marrakech.
Its cheaper fly inside the country. Nearly every plane stops at Casablanca. (Royal Air Maroc) RoyalAirMaroc
