To tell the truth I live in Pachuca presently and many may wonder where in the heck in Mexico is Pachuca. We are in a mountainous
town about an hour north of Mexico City.

I am teaching at an American school here. It is my first year of teaching, but I plan to have a few more. This is my 3rd country outside the US that I have lived in so I am a little more than a "virtual tourist"

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:friendly people, temperate climate, real Mexican culture, not a tourist town, great pastes, close to many tourism towns--Teotihuacan, Mexico City, Poza Rica, Veracruz, Acapulco
  • Cons:huge culture shock if your going to live here, things are a bit slower, must be careful about food and water
