I was here for four nights and really enjoyed it. In fact I met someone there who I'm still really good freinds with. After trapsing around Petra all day you really need somewhere to relax and this place was cool.
Unique Qualities: There served communal dinners and showed movies in the evening (nearly always Indiana Jones from what I remember!). Rooms were clean though there were queues for the washrooms for late risers.

I stayed at the Farah Hotel on my second visit to Amman following a recomendation from someone I had met in Petra. This place is much better than the crappy Cliff Hotel which I was in first time I was here. The rooms were clean and the hotel was well situated close to where all the shared taxis departed.
