Ha Long Bay

No trip to northern Vietnam is colplete without a vist to the famous Ha Long Bay. We weren't too sure the conditions would be perfect as July brings the rain clouds and the mist. Nonethless the scenery was breathtaking and we opted for the 3 day trip spending 2 nights on the boat.
I had to put a sunset shot somewhere!
Of course everyone wanted to take shots of the sunset but at night we were also able to go swimming where the water lit up with every movemoent you made.
We opted for a Kayaking trip as well which was well worth the additional money. Being off the boat menat we could go to some remote islands (with private sandy beaches) and enjoy the moment. Unfortunaly our kayaking skills were a little poor and progress was slow and tiring!
