Welcome to Seymour, TN. Sevier County

Living in a small town has it's advantages. No traffic jams, no hassles, scenic surrounding beauty of the mountains, great neighbors, low taxes and just an all around great place to call "home."
Seymour is nestled in-between the city of Sevierville, and the town of Knoxville, TN. (not to mention the other side lies another great little city called Maryville (where I work). So, we have the best of both worlds.
One cannot surpass the beauty of the mountains that surround our home. It was the selling point for us*7 yrs ago. It is truly a great place to live.

The beauty of our mountains......

can be seen from every corner*

Park-like setting........

and the many beautiful nature scenes, at our backdoor*

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:no traffic, laid back atmosphere, no hassles & low taxes
  • Cons:when it comes to shopping you have to drive to the next city and the same to dine out for dinner, we have a few restaurants but they are scarce
  • In a nutshell:*Living the good life.... Southern style*

From the selection of restaurants it seems you love Karaoke style shops. Do you sing?

Looks like a great place to live Sharon. Have visited Memphis & Lynchburg in TN, but hadn't heard of your home area before. Where is it in relation to Memphis & Nashville?

sounds an ideal place to live, and Big Mamas would certainly appeal :-). BTW Glad you liked our Ted's pic
