Oak Mountain State Park is 3 mi.e.of US 31 pff I-65 exit 246. This 9,940-acre park is at the southernmost part of the Appalachian chian and offers a cenic drive to the top of Double Oak Mountain. The park also has an area where animals can be petted, an 18-hole golf course, a beach, nature and hiking trails, horseback riding, a BMX track, tennis courts, pedal boats and canoes, picnic facilities, campsites and rental cabins.
