The mercado in Funchal is a good place to visit if you've never been to an open market BUT the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. 9.80E for a kilogram of mango? They definately cater to tourists. The Pingo Doce supermarket is a much better buy. | Toshioohsako Tue Feb 12, 2008 12:30 UTC
