Palm Springs City Hall built in1957

Back In The Desert Oasis!

My husband and I got back in Palm Springs during the New Years Holidays 2003/2004.
We admire "mid century modern" design architectuer and furniture. We just wanted to experience the city where the post war modern architecture is still kept and have a peaceful time there.

More Furniture Stores!!

Along Palm Canyon Drive, you can find some vintage funiture shops. Even you cannot afford a piece of furniture, still have fun to brouse around.

There were more furniture sotres than we visited last time.
Modern Way
Indian Canyon

Enjoy the weather and desert

When we visited there in December 2002, it was pretty confortable in the daytime to walk around. At night, the temparture went down and it was a little chilly.

Hiking in Indian Canyon was a blast! You will be astonished to see those giant palm trees.

Yes, I have not found an effective way to take pictures of the windmills either. They sure have a lot of artsy stores.
