(Updated 24 March 2008) Hello VT.
After nearly five years in Hanoi, I moved to Bangalore in Feb. 2005. I was formerly in Jakarta (1999-2000), Hong Kong (1996-1999), Sharjah (1996), Cape Cod (1994-1996), Seattle (1993-1994) New York (1988-1993), Hong Kong (1987-1988) and Melbourne (to 1987).
So far this year I've been only in depressing Dubai and the even more colourless Doha, as well as in Bangkok and Hong Kong.
I was in Pondicherry in late December 2007 and made a few notes.
I'll try to build some pages as time goes on but it will be a spasmodic effort. I occasionally post to the Usenet groups rec.travel.asia and rec.travel.europe
