We weren't supposed to leave the airport but... we had 8 hours to kill before our plane left for Argentina, and it seemed that our baggage had been checked straight through, so we scuttled out of the airport like naughty children. Everything in Europe works like clockwork and logically (and I don't include Britain in that statement) - the train station is clearly signed from the airport and on the doorstep and there are high speed trains into Central Milan every thirty minutes. Perfect! Within 40 miutes we were at the Cadorna Station - walking distance from all the major attractions. I hope you enjoy your travels there as much as we did. |
