|  | General Information Liberec (pop 100 000, Northern CZ) is a quite pleasant city in a hilly area. It can be described as a very "green" city. In and around Liberec there are many things to see. The city is being visited for its remarkable architecture and nearby mountains, also the famous zoo. There are also some museums that collect things about the history of whole Northern CZ. It is much quieter city than Prague but there arent only a few sights. |
| | Zoo and Botanic garden The city is also known about having the oldest zoo in Czech Republic and also with its large botanical garden. Both are rebuilt and modernized nowadays, which makes them even more attractive. |
| | Jested This is a small nearby peak who gives some ideas for skiing and one-day hiking trips. Good and easy one if you prefer walking uphill.
