Unfortunate weather - but enjoyable We headed to Kerry in October, which probably wasn't the smartest from a weather standpoint, but it did avoid most of the tourist. We had rain from the moment we landed until the moment we left, with a brief reprieve to take a few pictures. The drive around the Ring is beautiful, but cannot imagine being stuck behind tour buses much of the time.
We also had a great time spending the evenings in Killarney, although wish we would have stayed in a hotel right downtown. Again, seems like Ireland has the friendliest people in Europe. |
